DERMAUTOLOGY ALUMINIUM FILLER 1.3KG: Polyester filler with aluminum particles & peroxide included. Ideal for temp changes.
Superior adhesion & sanding!
DERMAUTOLOGY ALUMINIUM PUTTY 1,3 KG. is the robust and reliable solution for bodywork repairs, especially in areas exposed to relentless temperature variations. This two-component polyester filler, enriched with fine aluminum particles, not only offers magnificent adhesion to metal but also exhibits exceptional thermal behavior, expanding and contracting similarly to the substrate to prevent cracking and detachment.
Its advanced formulation ensures excellent sanding quality, allowing you to shape the surface precisely and achieve a smooth and uniform finish, ready for the next stage of painting. The metallic color of the filler facilitates matching in repairs where aesthetics are paramount. Prepare to achieve durable and long-lasting results, ready to face the challenges of everyday use.
Surface Preparation
Dermautology Aluminium Putty demonstrates exceptional adhesion to various substrates. For optimal results, apply to steel and aluminum that have been previously matted and degreased. It is also suitable for galvanized steel (matted and degreased), polyester laminates (GFK/GRP), other polyester fillers, acrylic and epoxy primers, as well as old finishes in good condition. We recommend using sandpaper with a grit between P80 and P120 to prepare the surface.
Important Caution!
• Do not apply this polyester filler directly to phosphatizing primers or 1-component acrylic and nitrocellulose products.
Application Method
• This polyester filling compound is recommended for repairs of bodywork elements exposed to temperature changes.
Layer Thickness
• The filler can be applied in several thin layers. Ensure that the previous layer is completely hardened before applying the next. Do not exceed a total thickness of 3 mm.
Pot Life
• 4 to 7 minutes at 20°C. Keep in mind that temperatures below 20°C will significantly extend this time.
Hardening Time
• 20 to 30 minutes at 20°C. Temperatures below 20°C will also extend the hardening time of the product.
Infrared (IR) Drying
• 9 to 11 minutes with short waves. Do not exceed a temperature of 80°C. On galvanized substrates, do not exceed 60°C. Wait approximately 5 minutes before starting infrared drying.
Subsequent Treatment
• On this polyester filler, you can apply other 2-component polyester fillers, 2-component spray polyester fillers, 2-component acrylic primers, and 2-component epoxy primers.
General Recommendations
• Excessive hardener can cause whitening of the enamel! During work with two-component products, the use of personal protective equipment is recommended. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use in well-ventilated areas and clean tools immediately after use.
