SYROX AIR DRY CLEARCOAT S5100 5LT is an air-drying clearcoat, designed to integrate into the Syrox refinish system. This clearcoat is specially developed for small to medium repairs, offering an efficient solution that eliminates the need for baking and reduces energy costs.

Characteristics

• Simple 2:1 mixing ratio without additives or thinners.
• S8100 Blending Thinner can be used for patch fading.
• Air-dry technology that avoids baking, thus reducing energy costs.
• Can be polished in less than 1 hour.

This clearcoat is compatible with the following catalysts

• S6000 HS ACTIVATOR SLOW
• S6010 HS ACTIVATOR STANDARD
• S6020 HS ACTIVATOR FAST

Preparation

• It is recommended to use appropriate personal protective equipment during application to avoid respiratory, eye and skin irritation.
• Syrox Basecoat: The surface must be dry / evaporated according to TDS before applying.
• Existing finishes: Surfaces must be sanded and cleaned before application.

Drying and Polishing

• Ready to polish between >20 min. – 2 h after drying (depending on drying temperature)
• Ready to polish after small repair with S8100 Blending Thinner.

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Avoid release to the environment. Avoid breathing vapours. Collect spillage. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
