De Beer BeroBase 500 Series MM 5031 Metallic Ultra Fine Bright. 1:1 mixing ratio with Uni Thinners (1-141, 1-151, 1-161, 1-181) for superior gloss and durability.

The colors of the De Beer 500 Series (BeroBase) require the use of base additives MM 577 or MM 588 in metallic and pearl shades for a uniform finish. In some colors, MM 5091 is also used to control the flop effect and ensure maximum color accuracy.

Technical and application details

Base Additives

For optimal finishes, especially in metallic and pearlescent shades, the 500 Series colors are always used in combination with the following additives:

· De Beer MM 577
· De Beer MM 588
· De Beer MM 5091 (Flop control additive to adjust metallic orientation and ensure maximum color accuracy)

Thinners: For exceptional performance, the basecoat should be mixed with the following Uni Thinners:

· 1-141 Uni Thinner Fast
· 1-151 Uni Thinner Medium
· 1-161 Uni Thinner Slow
· 1-181 Uni Thinner Ultra Slow

Physical properties

Composed of special physical drying resins, it has an RTS viscosity of 15-17 Dincup 4/20°C and a specific weight of 0.926 kg/l, with 12% solids by volume.

Application

For a professional finish, apply 2 to 3 coats with a thickness of 15-25 µm. For effect colors, an additional spray coat is recommended with a reduced air pressure of 1.2-1.5 bar (HVLP and HE spray guns).

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national and international regulations. Contains n-butyl methacrylate, methyl methacrylate, formaldehyde and maleic anhydride. May produce an allergic reaction.
