The simplified paint system

The BeroBase 500 Series has been designed to simplify your work. Thanks to its 1:1 mixing ratio with Thinner, preparation is straightforward and uncomplicated, increasing your workshop's productivity. The system uses cutting-edge color technology to ensure a perfect color match from the first time, compatible with OEM finishes. Its streamlined approach, with a reduced color palette, results in a profitable investment with less stock and less product waste, thanks to a shelf life of up to two years.

Technical Details of MM 519 Maroon

Base Additives

For optimal finishes, especially in metallic and pearlescent shades, the 500 Series colors are always used in combination with the following additives:

· De Beer MM 577
· De Beer MM 588
· De Beer MM 5091 (Flop control additive to adjust metallic orientation and ensure maximum color accuracy)

Components: This color base uses the following Uni Thinners for mixing:

· 1-141 Uni Thinner Fast
· 1-151 Uni Thinner Medium
· 1-161 Uni Thinner Slow
· 1-181 Uni Thinner Ultra Slow

Physical data

The chemical base is special physical drying resins. It has an RTS viscosity of 15-17 Dincup 4/20°C, with a specific weight of 0.926 kg/l and 12% solids by volume.

Application guide

For a flawless finish, the surface must be clean with 1-951 Silicone Remover and sanded with P400 grit abrasive or finer. Apply 2 to 3 coats of 15-25 µm. For effect colors, an additional spray coat is recommended with lower pressure (1.2-1.5 bar). Air drying at 20°C (68°F) takes 10-15 minutes to be dust-free and 15-20 minutes to be dry to handle.
