Physical data
Uts chemical base consists of special physical drying resins. The RTS viscosity is 15-17 Dincup 4/20°C, with a specific weight of 0.926 kg/l and a % Vol. of solids of 12.
Preparation and application for a perfect finish
For an optimal result, proper surface preparation is crucial. It should be cleaned with 1-951 Silicone Remover and sanded with P400 grit or finer. The product is applied in 2-3 coats of 15-25 µm thickness. For effect colors, an additional spray coat with a lower air pressure (1.2-1.5 bar) is recommended. Air drying time at 20°C (68°F) is 10-15 minutes to be dust-free and 15-20 minutes to be dry to handle.
