The De Beer BeroBase 500 Series stands out for its ease of use. Its 1:1 mixing ratio with Thinner simplifies preparation, optimizing your workshop's efficiency. This system provides precise color matching thanks to its advanced technology, ensuring compatibility with OEM finishes. Additionally, its smaller color range compared to other systems makes it a cost-effective investment with less stock, and its storage life of up to two years reduces waste.

Technical characteristics of the 500 Series

Base Additives

For optimal finishes, especially in metallic and pearlescent shades, the 500 Series colors are always used in combination with the following additives:

· De Beer MM 577
· De Beer MM 588

Chemical Base

Special physical drying resins.

Components

This color base uses the following Uni Thinners for its mixture:

· 1-141 Uni Thinner Fast
· 1-151 Uni Thinner Medium
· 1-161 Uni Thinner Slow
· 1-181 Uni Thinner Ultra Slow

Physical data

RTS viscosity of 15-17 Dincup 4/20°C and a specific weight of 0.926 kg/l.

Application process for a professional finish

For a flawless result, proper surface preparation is required.

· Preparation: Clean with 1-951 Silicone Remover and sand with P400 grit abrasive or finer.
· Application: Apply 2 to 3 coats of 15-25 µm thickness. An air pressure of 1.5-1.8 bar is recommended for HVLP and HE spray guns.
· Drying: The evaporation time is until it is tack-free. Air drying at 20°C (68°F) takes 10-15 minutes to be dust-free and 15-20 minutes to be dry to handle.
