The Spies Hecker Permasolid Race Additive 9070 thinner component in a 1-liter unit is the original system-adjusting fluid engineered specifically to integrate with the high-velocity, high-solids Race clearcoat series. This chemical additive operates as the official system thinner, allowing professional painters to fine-tune mixture viscosity to secure perfect spray atomization, premium film leveling, and clean overspray absorption inside the workshop spray booth.
Its technical application is designed to function in direct synergy with the Permasolid HS Race Clear Coat 8700 and the newly introduced Spies Hecker Permasolid VHS Race Hardener 3470 activator. By blending this additive into the mix, it stabilizes clearcoat behavior, facilitating a dependable two-coat application, enhancing the deep final gloss, and ensuring strict adherence to the ultra-fast drying parameters (15 minutes at 60 °C or 30 minutes at 40 °C). (Note: For extreme hot climates or high humidity workshop environments, the system also features the slow-evaporating Permasolid Race Additive 9072 slow version).
