The Spies Hecker Permasolid HS Race Clear Coat 8700 in a 1-liter unit is a highly versatile High Solids clearcoat engineered to streamline refinish cycle times inside the automotive bodyshop. Thanks to its effortless application properties and flexible fast-drying configurations, this premium clearcoat shortens spray-booth intervals while delivering an outstanding mirror-like high-gloss finish with long-lasting exterior durability and top-tier vertical stability.
This technical refinish product is perfectly suited for all types of bodywork repairs, ranging from minor spot repairs to full vehicle resprays. It offers a safe and simple two-coat application process with a very short intermediate flash-off. Alongside its rapid curing capability of 15 minutes at 60 °C, it provides significant workshop energy savings with a 30-minute cycle at 40 °C, and is fully compatible with Infrared (IR) drying systems. Due to its advanced chemical technology, treated panels can be polished and reassembled almost immediately after baking once they have cooled down for a brief period.
The system integrates an operational product range to master any environmental condition, featuring the activators Permasolid VHS Race Hardener 3470 and Permasolid VHS Race Hardener 3472 slow, alongside application enhancers Permasolid Race Additive 9070 and Permasolid Race Additive 9072 slow (formulated for hot and humid climates), and the fade-out specialist Permacron Race Blender 1070.
